North Harbour Secondary School Seven's

Thank you to all those who participated in the North Harbour Secondary Schools Sevens Tournament on Wednesday 24th March, at Hato Petera. It was a successful day, with a very high standard of games played, which provided entertainment, competitiveness and enjoyment for all those both participating and watching.

The Open Boys Cup final, was contested between Westlake II and Massey, with both teams inseparable at the end of regulation time, producing our first ever golden point Open Boys final. Westlake II held their composure, stuck to their pattern and eventually was victorious winning 12-5. The following results are the outcome of the tournament:

Once again, the tournament highlighted what outstanding talent resides within our region and bodes well for future North Harbour representative sides. Thank you to the coaches and the parents that supported the schools on this occasion. Also, I would like to thank the North Harbour Referees Association for providing officials on the day and without them this day would not be possible.
