Primary Schools Tournament

The Primary Schools Rugby Tournament is an annual 10-a-side Rugby Tournament for all Primary Schools in the North Harbour Rugby Region. This year will be the 8th year in operation and in that time it has grown to be the largest Primary School Tournament of its kind in the country.

 

Dates and Venues for all Modules

All module field days are scheduled for a Thursday in the week of play. All teams are to be assembled by 9.40am for a 10.00am start with games finished and departure at 1.30pm.

 

East Coast Bays Module

Location:  Freyberg Park, Browns Bay

Dates: May 6th (Save Day May 12th), June 24th (Save Day June 29th), August 19th (Save Day August 24th)

 

Glenfield Module

Location: Glenfield RFC, Kaipataki Park, Glenfield

Dates: TBA

 

Kumeu Module

Location: Kumeu RFC, Riverhead War Memorial Domain, Riverhead

Dates: TBA

 

Massey Module

Location: Massey RFC, Moire Park, Massey

Dates: TBA

 

Silverdale Module

Location: Silverdale RFC, Main Rd, Silverdale

Dates: TBA

 

Takapuna Module

Location: Hato Petera School, College Rd, Takapuna

Dates: TBA

 

 

Semi Finals/Finals

The top 2 teams in both Rippa Rugby and Junior Black for each module will qualify  for the semi finals day which is usually held at North Harbour Marist in September. Teams will be selected from the points tables that will record points from each with both performance and sportmanship contributing to the final standings. The two top teams from Rippa and Tackle will then proceed into the final which will be played at North Harbour Stadium as a curtainraiser  to an Air New Zealand Cup game.
