The Pre-Academy Training Group is a key step in helping them achieve their full potential as an atholete and a rugby player and gaining future selection to the Academy itself.
Essentially this involves coming to strength and conditioning sessions twice a week at Massey University Recreation Centre and Club Physical, Westgate where they learn how to train properly under the guidance of our Academy and Pre Academy Trainer, Jan Reyneke. Monthly skills sessions are also a feature of this group.
There have been 13 players selected from the Under 16 and Under 18 teams to enter the Pre-Academy Training Group in 2007.
