North Harbour Rugby Union is looking to appoint a Coaching Group for the 2024 representative U85’s side, ahead of their upcoming Northern Region Representative season.

Role Overview:

These are unpaid opportunities for experienced Coaches in the North Harbour community, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

The U85 side is scheduled to assemble at the conclusion of our Kennards Hire Club Rugby competitions, ahead of the following fixtures:

• 24th August vs Auckland
• 31st August vs Waikato
• 7th September vs Counties Manukau

The Finals will be hosted on 14th September.

Key Responsibilities:

• A strong ability to build team culture.
• Plan and conduct team training sessions.
• Collaboration with the team’s leadership group on strategic match-day approaches.
• Evaluating and providing feedback to players on their performance, helping them set and achieve personal and team goals.
• Fulfill the North Harbour Rugby Union purpose, of Improving Lives Through Rugby.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire players.
• Commitment to fostering a thriving team environment.
• Availability to attend all training sessions and fixtures.
